Car from Colchester (A12)
Take first exit to Chelmsford A138. At the roundabout from the slip road take the last exit.
At the next roundabout take the second exit. Continue on A138 for a couple of miles.
At the roundabout take the last exit.
At the first traffic lights turn right into Sandford Road.
Continue along Sandford Road to next traffic lights and turn left into Springfield Road.
Go straight on past the pedestrian controlled traffic lights and carry on straight at the next set of lights.
On approach to the roundabout take the first exit (which goes over the river).
At the next round about take the right hand lane and take the
third exit into Parkway. Go straight over the next
roundabout with the Cricket Ground on your left and Buckenham
House is on your left after you pass under the railway line.
Car from the M25
Leave the M25 at Exit 28 and join the A12 towards Chelmsford. Approximately 8 miles along the
A12 take the first exit for Chelmsford (A1016) and proceed across the roundabout, which
immediately follows.
After approximately 2 miles there is a roundabout, take second exit (London Road). At the
next roundabout take the second exit (London Road). At the next roundabout take the second
exit (Princes Road with Miami hotel on right hand side).
After approximately 1 mile is the Army & Navy roundabout, take the first exit
(Parkway). Refer to Car from the A130.
Car from the A130
Take the A130 into Chelmsford town centre. Go over the flyover at the Army and Navy
roundabout and then straight over the next two roundabouts.
Pass under the railway line and Buckenham House will be on your
left.
Car from the M11
Travelling South on the M11 leave at Junction 8 and join the A120 East towards Great
Dunmow. At Great Dunmow join the A130 to Chelmsford. As you reach the edge of
Chelmsford the A130 becomes the Essex Regiment Way. Follow the Essex Regiment Way
(A130) until it finishes at a roundabout and take the first exit into White Hart
Lane (A130). Proceed straight across the next two roundabouts staying on White Hart
Lane (A130).
At the third roundabout take the last exit (past the White Hart Pub on your left)
onto the Colchester Road. Proceed straight across the small roundabout. At the next
roundabout take the third exit (under a road bridge) into Springfield Road and towards
the Town Centre.
Continue along Springfield Road until just past the Prison on your left. Go straight
on past the pedestrian controlled traffic lights and carry on straight at the next set
of light. On approach to the roundabout take the first exit (which goes over the river). At
the next round about take the right hand lane and take the third exit into Parkway. Continue
as per route from A12.

On foot from Chelmsford Train Station

Leave the train station via the front entrance (turn right through barriers in station) out
onto Duke Street.
Outside the station entrance turn right and walk up Duke Street, under the railway viaduct.
At the crossroads of Duke Street, Broomfield Road and Coval Lane turn left and
cross over Duke Street at the pedestrian crossing.
Proceed to cross over the top of Coval Lane turning left down Coval Lane.
Proceed to the bottom of Coval Lane and take the pedestrian crossing to cross over
Parkway (Dual Carriageway).
Once across Parkway turn left and proceed along Parkway until you come to Coval Wells,
proceed down past the M & G building on your right and cross Coval Wells to the Ensign
Building, the reception entrance is situated toward the lower end of Coval Wells.
